On the internet especially there are many people that claim to be "Hebrew Roots followers" or "Hebrew Christians" and they claim to prefer to call their god "yeshua".  If you speak English and believe the Bible, let's examine what the Bible says about His name.

Acts 4:
10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, [even] by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.   (not yeshua)

Philippians 2
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth;
11 And [that]
every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Revelation 1:1-2

  • The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified [it] by his angel unto his servant John:
  • Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

  • No where in the Bible (KJV or modern perversions) will you find this name "yeshua".
They will claim that Jesus would have spoken Hebrew, but the New Testament was written in GREEK and it's in the New Testament that we learn about God's only begotten Son and His precious and Holy name, it isn't found in the Old Testament.  By going into the Hebrew they are trying to reestablish the OLD covenant rather than the Newer and better covenant that was paid for by the blood of Lord Jesus Christ.  This is also another trait of what freemasonry and the jewish kablaha teaches, that there is a hidden name of God.

    Psalms 138:2
I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
